Co-authored with Giovanni Sullutrone, Luca Sala, and Sonia Bergamaschi (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), the study explores the reliability of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems in handling sensitive topics within digital libraries. By analyzing a ḥadīṯ dataset through an ad-hoc Question-Classify-Retrieve (QCR) framework, the research highlights potential biases in document retrieval and their impact on accessibility and knowledge dissemination.
