SEBD 2023 – 31st Symposium on Advanced Database Systems

Our colleague Luca Sala (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), took part in the 32nd Symposium on Advanced Database Systems, the leading annual event for the Italian database research community, presenting his paper “Knowledge Extraction and Cross-Language Data Integration in Digital Libraries”.
The symposium, a key forum for academics and industry professionals, provided an excellent platform for ITSERR researchers to share their innovative work and engage with the broader database research community.
The paper explores methods for knowledge extraction and multilingual data integration in digital libraries, focusing on non-Latin languages such as Arabic, Persian, and Azerbaijani. The research, developed within the Digital Maktaba (DM) project and the PNRR ITSERR infrastructure, introduces a framework to enhance data accessibility and interoperability.
